About

Hi, I’m Katelyn.

I’m a 27-year-old wife, mom, student, and writer living in beautiful Idaho. My husband and I have been married for four years, and together we’re raising two incredible boys: our oldest, who is 5 years old and has autism and epilepsy, and our energetic 2-year-old who keeps us on our toes.

When I’m not chasing kids or trying to keep up with the endless pile of laundry, you’ll usually find me studying. I’m currently earning my psychology degree online through Utah Valley University, a path that’s deeply personal to me because of my own experiences with mental health.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve battled my own mental health challenges. Nearly three years ago, I was also diagnosed with epilepsy, a diagnosis that changed my life in ways I never expected. Between motherhood, caregiving, school, chronic illness, and trying to find my own identity through it all, life has often felt overwhelming.

But it has also taught me something important: none of us were meant to carry life’s weight alone.

I’ve always loved writing. For me, writing has been a place to process, to breathe, and to find meaning in both the beautiful moments and the heartbreaking ones. That’s why I created this blog.

My hope is that this space becomes more than just a collection of stories. I want it to be a place where honesty is welcomed, where the messy parts of life aren’t hidden away, and where people can come to realize they aren’t the only ones struggling.

Whether I’m sharing about motherhood, epilepsy, mental health, college, faith, personal growth, or simply the ordinary moments that shape who we are, I hope you’ll find something here that reminds you you’re not alone.

This blog is my voice, but I hope it also becomes a voice for anyone who has ever felt unseen, unheard, or overwhelmed.

I’m so glad you’re here.
